Cheesecakes and Smoothies for Dinner at K Cafe, Angeles City
One of the sweetest thing in life is served on a sizzling plate. How cool err-- how hot is that?
Sizzling Apple Cheesecake
K Cafe's Sizzling Apple Cheesecake (P175/slice) is perfectly concocted to give that sweet and chewy goodness in every bite. It is topped with cool ice cream and served on a hot sizzling plate. To complete the presentation is the caramel syrup that is poured on top and sizzles as it melts and trickles down. The taste is a little playful as it is a mixture of little bit of something.
Imagine the tart taste of the apple, the salty and sour flavor of the cheesecake, the creaminess of the ice cream and the sweetness of the caramel, not to mention the cool and warm sensation playing inside your mouth
K Cafe's signature Red Velvet Cheesecake (P120/slice) is equally delicious. Every fork slice is an exquisite and moist serving of the cream cheese frosting, moist red velvet cake combined with the creamy goodness of the cheesecake.
To pair the cheesecakes, I have a Banoffee smoothie (P115/12oz, P145/18oz) that reminds me of summer. The banana flavor gives that sweet and refreshing taste.
K Cafe's presence in Nepo Quad is strategically located in the city.
The restaurant's interior is designed to give that zen feel and look. The chocolate brown colored furniture is matched by the round lamps that cutely fall from the ceiling.

As an added bonus, you also get to have a free wifi. And if you are a freelancer like me who get to work from one place to another and who needs to charge your gadgets, this is an ideal place.

I typically dine at K Cafe with their delicious desserts and smoothies on mind. But K Cafe actually have a lot to offer. They offer various dishes that include American, Italian, Japanese, Mexican, Pizza, Sandwiches and bugergers, Tex-Mex, and Vietnamese.
The prices are reasonable. The servings are pretty hefty, which is good enough to share with a friend. And if you are counting your calories, the cake slices is sufficient to satisfy the sweet cravings of two people.

Signature Red Velvet Cheesecake
K Cafe's signature Red Velvet Cheesecake (P120/slice) is equally delicious. Every fork slice is an exquisite and moist serving of the cream cheese frosting, moist red velvet cake combined with the creamy goodness of the cheesecake.
The cheesecake is a little salty but it does not overpower the red velvet cake. Though the red velvet cake is not dry at all compared to its counterpart in the market, the cheesecake heightens the creaminess to few notches. I applaud Caren Kwong Basilio, K Cafe's owner, for being "gastronomically" correct in this red velvet cheesecake creation. She is a hands on entrepreneur who gets her hand busy in the kitchen and make sure to give a fantastic dining experience to K Cafe's customers.
