Cioccolo, Angeles City: Romantic Air, Renaissance and Relaxing Dining
We'd all come to that age that crowd and bars do not appeal anymore. And when that time comes, what we consider as fun would be as simple as having dinner or coffee with your friends or family.
Cioccolo is precisely the place that a person who adores serenity like me would love to go. It is a good place to have a relaxing meal, a nightcap or conversation over coffee away from many people in Angeles City. Though it's been in the business for several years already, I only visited the place for a couple of times.
Cioccolo is located in Grand Palazzo Royale, an event venue that defines elegance and style. Surrounded with the beauty of nature with statues and columns in reminiscence of Ancient Greece and Rome (err, except for the Elvis statue), it s a perfect escape from the city turmoil. It is also a very romantic place that makes you want to get married (well, that's sounded too much).
But before dessert, eat your dinner first with their delicious meal. I tried their seafood pesto pasta--it was cook to perfection. The bread with the pasta dish was served oven-fresh. It was one of the best bread I've tasted. It is not the toasted garlic bread that other resto would typically serve. And the plate of greens was just awesome.

The Place
It is best to come here at night as you get to enjoy the romantic evening ambiance.
You can choose to dine al fresco or be comfortable in the warmth and the cozy atmosphere inside the restaurant. The interior is designed to feel like home. You can comfortably sit with your friends in the couch while enjoying your choice of coffee and cakes.
The place was renovated last March and, as I heard, they had a re-opening event. The photos in this blog post, unfortunately, was taken prior to the event. So, I guess, I need to visit the place again and check out what's new.
Food and Budget
Cioccolo is quite popular for their amazingly delicious cakes. Forget your calorie count and enjoy your slice of Brazo de Mercedes Cheese Cake, Almond Roca Cake, or Ferrero Rocher Cake.
