Figaro Coffee With Your Favorite Meal

Figaro Coffee Company has been serving delicious coffee to Filipino coffee lovers since 1993. From a simple kiosk in Ayala, the company has grown so much to cater the increasing market.

It started small in the past by 7 college friends. And look at it now.

I hear some people say that we should avoid doing business with family and friends because it could ruin your relationship--money could ruin the relationship. It is unfair for money to take all the blame. The reasons for doomed relationship could be something else and money issues are just the manifestation of that. Figaro, for instance, were started by friends. Surely, they encountered challenges along the way. But, I guess, they were resilient in reaching their business goals.

I am sure they have a pretty nice story to tell for potential business partners, If only we could replicate what they did with their partnership then we could also be successful with our own endeavors.

The Food

Though Figaro coffee shops are styled with European interiors, they advocate Philippine-made coffee and Filipino cuisine. The company are sourcing coffee beans from various parts of the country and they are helping Filipino coffee growers too. They serve delicious Filipino meals like tuyo, longganisa, bangus belly and beef tapa. However, if you are craving for something else, you might find something more delectable in their menu. Their glass countertop displays mouthwatering pastries and cakes too.

Last time, I had a savory meal of rice with pork tenderloin in Asian pesto (P199). It is served with a cup of delicious brewed coffee,

My friend Raffy had an Italian-inspired meal of pasta, Tuscan chicken and vegetable salad (P239)

Craving for rice? No worries, they have rice meals here.
