Gustav Cafe, Angeles City: Pasta Serena
Pasta noodles like rice is bland when eaten by itself. But when you mix it with the right stuff, you turn it into a good meal. And similar to rice, it can be addictive/
When I crave for some pasta dishes while in Angeles City, a great place to grab one is at Gustav Cafe. Their pasta serena is my personal fave. Using angel's hair pasta in red sauce, they topped it with generous amount of shrimp and mussels and mixed it with some olives and green bell pepper.
Unlike the sweet Filipino-style spaghetti, Gustav's pasta serena is a bit sour, which is what I love. You can really taste the tomatoes in it.
So, if you are into Italian-style pasta, this is a must-try.
